American Shootist LLC opened for business in Anchorage Alaska in late 2006. It’s founder, John Paff, is a 20-year retired Air National Guardsman who spent 15 years as an Air Force Pararescueman, also known as “PJ’s”. John now resides in Chugiak Alaska and is currently working as a Fire Apparatus Engineer/Paramedic with the Anchorage Fire Department. John’s passion for shooting sports combined with his tactical background culminated in the desire to establish American Shootist LLC. ASLLC understands the trending decline in knowledgeable, polite, and friendly salespeople frequently found in many current “Big Box” or “Snob-shop” stores.
