For Full Information on SSDI Please see the attached document:
Space Systems Development, Inc. (SSDI) is a Certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) chartered in the State of Colorado on February 14, 1996. Specializing in the aerospace industry, it is an Emerging Small Business as defined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.9. SSDI's corporate, technical and administrative offices, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, are secure facilities meeting government standards.

Mr. Robert B. Bell, CEO/President, manages the technical and administrative office. Engineering/Technical supervision is directly overseen by the designated Program Manager and coordinated through and with the Vice President of Space Control Systems. This maximizes control and simplifies review of day-to-day operations while neither usurping nor diluting the authority and responsibility of designated managers.

SSDI’s primary business objective is to provide the necessary Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) for the analysis and assessment of Space/Ground Systems, Operational Concepts, Network Architectures, Communications, New Technology and Security Requirements. To achieve maximum effectiveness in Concept Design and Systems Analysis, we maintain highly responsive, independent support teams with a broad spectrum of technical and management talent. We understand user requirements, the acquisition processes, and “state of the art” technologies.

Additionally, our in-depth corporate knowledge of aerospace systems and programs allows us to commit SSDI not only to tangible objectives, but also to those more difficult to define criteria such as quality, effectiveness and efficiency. In this manner, we achieve our goal of consistently offering a best value alternative for mission accomplishment regardless of technical complexity.

As indicated in SSDI’s corporate Capabilities Briefing, SSDI has been directly associated to a multitude of Government related technology contracts. Currently, Mr. Bell has navigated SSDI onto 7 different contract vehicles. SSDI’s most recent award responsibility is to provide independently validation to Boeing’s entire project related concepts before forwarding them onto NASA for consideration. Only the best analytical engineering and scientific based firm would have been given this awesome responsibility. It truly keeps within the scope of SSDI’s motto:

“Developing The Future For Our Children”

The staff at SSDI has decades of experience and diverse backgrounds in Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Program Planning and assessments of new technology in DOD and NASA and of other US Government agencies with their space/communications programs. Expertise at SSDI encompasses the disciplines of Space Mission Planning, Flight Operations, Ground/Space Based Communications, Communications Network Operations and Control, Interpretability Analysis, Satellite and Launch Vehicle Communications Electronics, Payload Operations Control Center (POCC) Operations Planning, Advanced C3I security assessment and analysis. In addition, Network Architecture (Planning and Integration). SSDI's broad spectrum of experience and disciplines allows us to provide the insightful hardware and software overviews and mission planning studies, which maximize customer efforts.
