Crown Holdings, is a real estate holding company specializing in the redevelopment of underperforming properties, and their return back to commercially productive states. Crown primarily focuses on the built environment (pre existing structures, buildings or previously developed land) versus Greenfield development.

Crown accomplishes this through environmental and or structural rehabilitation of the property, and participates in each step of the redevelopment process from property acquisition, planning, redevelopment and on going management. Underperforming properties are converted from liabilities back to productive assets, in turn improving the overall landscape of the communities in which the properties reside.

Site Criteria

Crown utilizes specific criteria to select properties and to measure their probability for long-term success, both financially and through community contribution. This criteria revolves around three key points:

Properties must be currently in an underperforming state (not maximizing its commercial value) due to financial, structural, environmental or operational impairment
Properties impairment must be cost effective to cure and redevelop.
Properties Redevelopment options must align with local economic development initiatives, support the local demographic base and maximize the properties Best Use.

Once a property has been identified and proven to be a viable candidate, Crown will acquire the site and begin the Redevelopment process.
